It is a new word for Nigeria see naija. The word Bongo is derived from Bongo drums or bongos which are percussion instruments made up of two small drums attached to each other.
It is also an antelope specie, found in the Western or Lowland Bongo, there are herbivorous, mostly nocturnal forest ungulate and among the largest of the African forest.
